Fitts Beach Trip Rapidly Approaching

As snowfall blankets the East Coast and the Midwest enters its "polar plunge", we are once again reminded of the nearness of the annual family beach vacation to the Outer Banks. A winter chest cold makes us realize that a sunburn really isn't all that bad. Freezing rain stirs memories of icy pops, family sledding trips bring to mind the thrill of watching Uncle Bill ride Jazmine's boogie board, and smoothies (only for girls of course) seem that much more appetizing as the temperature plummets faster than the elevator in our new house (whoo!).

With this in mind, we remember that 172 days is less than half of a year. We're on the homestretch everyone, and it's Jamaican me crazy!

  1. The count down - 29 days to go before the trail ride down to the beach. Stopping off to pick up last minute items, cramming the car with food, drinks and more drinks. Sand, sun, old stories, new stories and repeated stories; it's all good. Family & friends, there's nothing like it!
See you at the beach Ben!
